Social Change in the Porgera Valley

Chapter 2 describes the social and environmental changes which took place at the Porgera mine impact area from the end of 1988 to mid-1993. It recommends strategies to eliminate or minimise impacts moving forward. It also identifies resources in the community, government and company that could be utilised for long term social development.
